My name is Matt. I am a qualified teacher and teacher trainer of English as a Foreign Language. I am also an examiner of an international English exam. I have taught students from Moscow and other areas of Russia for over 6 years, and trained teachers in the latest methods and techniques in language teaching.

BA (Hons) Linguistics and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

Trinity College Certificate in TESOL

Trinity College Diploma in TESOL

In 2016, I was awarded the Lesson Share Competition award by OneStopEnglish, the world's largest online teaching resource website.

I have worked as a Director of Studies in both Moscow and London, and am familiar with Russian students. My lessons are unlike others. I complete a thorough needs analysis to ensure that you needs are met and that lessons are engaging. I employ a mainly task-based methodlogy which helps improve students' confidence and fluency.
