I have been learning English for 18 years so far and started teaching being a high school student – I successfully assisted secondary school students in OGE preparation and tutored them in English for school classes. Since then the hobby has turned into a profession, and thus far I have worked as an English teacher in three educational centres in my home town Korolyov (in the latter since 2021 to this day) and gained extensive experience of private practice, including exams preparation. I only work with contemporary coursebooks, produced by world recognised publishing houses (Oxford, Cambridge, Macmillan, Pearson, National Geographic), which are based on the modern methodology and use realistic language and authentic materials; depending on the student's interests and objectives I add extra necessary materials such as TED talks, extracts from interviews with native speakers, films, series, news, etc. to form sociolinguistic competence; I will also include language exercises to drill grammar, improve phonetics, and boost vocabulary. I combine individual and complex approaches while teaching the four types of speech activities and aspects of the language. I conduct individual, group, mini-group and pair classes, adjusting the programme to abilities, needs and goals of my students. Age range of students: young learners (3+), teenagers and adults. If you can find your inquiry here, I will be glad to help: adolescents: tutoring in English for school classes / improving academic achievement / filling in knowledge gaps; preparation for university entrance examinations, for USE, BSE, and other compulsary school tests, as well as for olympiads; preparation for KET, PET, FCE for schools Cambridge exams; advancing of communicative skills, speech fluency and ability to recognise fluent speech of natives (also for moving / interviews / college or university enrollment); general English for life / travel / self-development; students / adults: preparation for exams that prove English proficiency (IELTS / TOEFL); for PET, FCE, CAE Cambridge exams; English for travel, and work; general English for migration and employment; English for sociocultural development / broadening of horizons / personal goals; I also consider teaching English for specific fields and purposes – please, contact me to discuss your demand.
